This gourmet popcorn from Comeback Snacks is good for the body and soul. It all started when founder Emily O'Brien was incarcerated as a first-time offender for a drug charge and decided that she needed to make a positive change in the world.
Inspired by creative snacks that her fellow inmates would put together, Emily soon-after launched Comeback Snacks, a popcorn company that uses quality ingredients and offers unique flavour (some inspired by the very ones made inside prison). Most importantly, it attempts to remove some of the stigma associated with having a prior conviction through maintaining a sense of humour, and giving offenders the opportunity and confidence to gain and maintain pro-social employment -- keeping the community safer by helping ex-cons refrain from returning to their old ways.
