Jöey Nordic Seed Crisps are artisan-style, crispy seed crackers made from a powerhouse blend of seven super seeds: Pumpkin, Sunflower, Flax, Sesame, Hemp, Chia, Watermelon.

These crisps are gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, vegan, and baked in small batches using all-natural ingredients—with no fillers, starches, or preservatives. Each serving offers around 7g of protein, 4g of fiber, and is rich in essential minerals like iron and zinc.

Flavors:

1. Saffron & Pink Salt – aromatic and earthy with floral notes from saffron and a touch of Himalayan pink salt.

2. Rosemary & Black Pepper – savory and herbaceous with a gentle peppery kick.

3. Truffle – decadent and earthy with real Italian black summer truffle and sea salt.

Jöey Nordic Seed Crisps is a Canadian food company based in Prince Edward County, Ontario, specializing in handcrafted, gluten-free seed crackers inspired by traditional Nordic crispbreads. The company was founded by Joseph (“Jöey”) Chen, a former global brand strategist with experience at major CPG brands like Kraft, Unilever, and Hershey.

Jöey's journey began during a 2019 trip to Sweden, where he discovered the region’s traditional crispbread. Motivated by his partner’s gluten intolerance and a desire to create a more nutritious alternative to typical crackers, he began developing a seed-based version at home. After three years of R&D, he launched the crisps in August 2022 at a local farmer’s market in Prince Edward County—where they quickly gained a loyal following. 

The company remains small-batch and quality-focused, using certified gluten-free facilities and organic ingredients wherever possible. Jöey plans to secure full organic certification soon. The brand name “Jöey” (with an umlaut) reflects its Nordic inspiration and playful, handcrafted identity.
